Amphicar Boston Swim-In with British Guest

Thurs Aug 23rd we will be having a  Pig Roast approx 6pm at our house located at 1683  Rear Bay St, Taunton, MA.  If someone is to use a Garmin just put in 1683 Bay St., Taunton, MA.  It is a dirt road, but there will be an orange cone at the beginning of it.  

If any of the British Car Members would like a ride into the Lake we could accomodate it after dinner.

Friday the cars will be heading to the Cape at Wakeby Mashpee Pond.  We will be leaving the house approx 9:30 AM & should arrive approx 11-12 AM depending upon if we leave at the scheduled time & also if we have no breakdowns.  Friday at 4pm or so we are invited to Stoney's Pizza, Middleboro, MA. for free pizza.  This will include The British Car Club Members also.  We will park the British Cars for a photo Shoot & the Amphicars for a photo shoot.  From there we will head back to 1683 Rear Bay St, Taunton, MA

Saturday we will be arriving at the Boat Ramp at Long Pond, Lakeville, MA for the big Splash of all the cars entering the water.  This is scheduled tentatively around 11AM.

(precise time of arrival is difficult).  The cars usually stay in the water for the day & we will be heading back to 1683 Rear Bay St around 3PM.  Hamburgers & Hot dogs & salads will be served with the band starting at 5PM.  When the band goes on break we will be having a comical auction in between.  If anyone is interested we do need a headcount on who will be attending on each day for food with a deadline by Aug 2nd.

At this time I havent been able to secure a parking area at Long Pond for the British Cars for the day.  If something changes I will let you know.  The boat ramp parking is usually filled with boat trailers. 

We do not charge for the event, but we will have a contribution box if anyone wishes to contribute.  We will have T Shirts for sale & if anyone is interested in donating any small items for the auction that would be fine too.  This is limited to the British Car Club Members Only, as we dont want the general public at our residence.  If anyone would like to contact us please advise they can reach us at
