FRIDAY –
Come join us in a "Meet
& Greet" (BYOB) social with light snacks at the
Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging,
6pm to 10pm, provided we maintain a reasonable
level of noise! No attendance fee
required but an RSVP would be appreciated.
SATURDAY –
Starting from Marine
Park Falmouth we will depart parade style for a
"back road cruise" on the lesser
known roads of the cape, stopping at various scenic
vistas and beaches along the
way. These are twisty, winding roads that lend themselves well to the ideal
sports car cruise.
We will be making stops along the way, and then board the
Viking Cruise ship for a water cruise and pizza
lunch up and down the Cape Cod Canal.
After the cruise, back on the road, a
scenic tour back to Falmouth is planned.
In the evening, a social mixer at Green
Harbor Waterfront Lodging will top off the day.
SUNDAY –
At Buzzards Bay Bridge Park
along the Cape Cod Canal on Main Street, Buzzards Bay close to shopping.
The show cars will be on a firm grass surface, (no mud) and grouped by class.
Everyone
who enters a car will be given a ballot to vote for Peer Judging, a British
Legends T-shirt
and "goody bag". On-site food and restroom facilities are available.
Participants and
vendors must register). There are trophies, raffle prizes, a 50/50 cash raffle
and other prizes. All cars must be on Field NLT 10am.
LODGING –
The Green Harbor
Waterfront Lodging is our host hotel for BLW2008 with
rates of:
$106.00 for the kitchen units
$98.00 for the standard
This rate will be held until July 15. After
that, the rates will be:
$146.00 for the kitchen units
$146.00 for the standard
The early rate represents a $55.00 savings per night. And the post July 15
rate still offers a 10% discount. All rates are subject to the state and
local taxes.
