British Legends Weekend - 2008
The EVENTS!
Welcome to the Cape Cod British Car Club’s British Legends
Weekend. These events
will be held on September 26th , 27th
& 28th, 2008 in Falmouth, Massachusetts
and the greater Cape
Cod area. All events are Rain or Shine
Events!
Friday September 26th:
Meet & Greet:

Place: Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging , East Falmouth, MA
Time: 6:00pm - 10:00 pm
Come join us in a
"Meet & Greet" (BYOB) social with light snacks at the
Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging
6pm to 10pm, provided we
maintain a reasonable level of noise!
No attendance fee required but an RSVP would be appreciated
Saturday September 27th:
Cape Cod Seaside/Backroad Car Tour and Boat Cruise with Pizza lunch:

Place: Meet at Marine Park, Scranton Avenue, Falmouth, MA.
Time: 9:00am & Departing at 10:00am
Cost: Car Road Tour is Free --- Boat Cruise with Pizza Lunch is $20.00/person
(children under 13 free).
Pre-registration for the Cruise is encouraged.

Starting from Marine Park Falmouth we will depart parade style for a "back road
cruise" on the lesser
known roads of the cape, stopping at various scenic vistas and beaches along the
way. These are twisty,
winding roads that lend themselves well to the ideal sports car cruise.
After the car cruise, we
board the Viking Cruise ship
(departs precisely at 1:30pm) for a water cruise and pizza lunch up and down
the Cape Cod Canal.
After the cruise, back on the road, a scenic tour back to Falmouth is planned.
In the evening, 7:00pm, a social mixer (BYOB)
with light snacks at the
Green Harbor
Waterfront Lodging
will top off the day with
the usual LBC bantering about who got there first, who broke down, who used the
most oil, etc.
Sunday
September 28th:
British Legends Car Show:

Place: Bridge Park, Buzzards Bay, MA
Time: 9:00am
Price: $20.00 per car. $25.00 the day of the show.
Plenty of
free parking for non-show vehicles is available.
The show cars themselves are on
a firm grass surface, (no mud) and will be grouped by class. Limited parking for
trailers
is available. Everyone who enters an automobile will be given a ballot
to vote for their favorites in each class, a British Legends
tee shirt and
"goody bag" of literature and other useful trinkets. On-site food will be
available for purchase from a local civic organization.
Don't buy your morning coffee and
doughnut, wait until you get to the field and support a worthwhile cause.
Public
Restroom facilities are available at the park. Vendors displaying British
car related parts or items are welcomed
(please check "registration" for fees).
Price/car $20.00 in advance or $25.00 the
day of the show. There is no
cost of admission for any additional people or visitors. All vendors and
participants must register,
pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.
Please see the registration form and rules of the show. Awards will be
presented after 1:30pm. Raffle prizes presented throughout the day, including a
50/50 cash raffle, and other prizes.
Lots to see and do at the harbor and steps away on
Buzzards Bay Main Street.
Rocker Box Racing:

Time: Morning, approx 9:00am.
Anyone can race. No registration - No fee.
Read the Rules (immediately above) regarding acceptable "Rocker Box" entries,
show up, participate and have a good time!
