From North and Boston: Follow Route 3 South, to Exit
1A to the right (before the Sagamore Bridge), take right at bottom of
off ramp. Follow Route 6 West to Buzzards Bay. Go three quarters around
the rotary, past the CVS
Store; follow signs to Main Street Buzzards Bay. Buzzards Bay Park will
be on the left., one mile down Main Street.
From West – CT & RI: From I-195 continue onto Route
25. Take Exit 3 (formally Exit 2 – Bourne/Sagamore) off Route 25 just
before the Bourne Bridge. Go past the
CVS Store, less than
half way around the rotary; follow signs for Main Street, Buzzards Bay.
Buzzards Bay Park will be on the left, one mile down Main Street.

After crossing the Sagamore Bridge, take the first exit off the highway. At
the traffic light take a left. Continue on this road until reaching a
rotary. Take RT28 South (third right around the rotary).
Follow Route 28 to Exit for Brick Kiln Rd. and East Falmouth.
Take left at end of Exit Ramp. Proceed on Brick Kiln Rd. to the very end.
At end of Brick Kiln Rd. you will come to Route 28 again. Turn left onto
Route 28 and proceed 1/2 mile to Acapesket Rd.
Turn right on Acapesket Rd. and drive 1/2 mile to Green Harbor. Watch
for signs!

If you get separated (or are unable to join) our car cruise that starts at
Marine Park at 10am and you wish to go on the 1:30 pm canal cruise.
From Cape Cod traveling over the Bourne Bridge take the first
exit once over the bridge. Follow signs for Route 6 West & Route 28 North.
At the 4th set of lights take a left onto Onset Avenue. The Buttermilk Inn
will be on your right. Continue on Onset Avenue and the Onset Town Pier will
be on the left.
From where Route I-195 Joins Route I-495 proceed east on Route 25 to
Wareham, Exit 1 for Onset & Wareham/Route 6 East & Route 28 South. Continue
straight off of exit ramp. At the 3rd set of lights take a right following
sign for Onset Bay. Once you have crossed the railroad crossing bear left
onto Onset Avenue. Continue on Onset Avenue, through the village of Onset,
and the Onset Town Pier will be on the right.
From where Route 3 ends or Sagamore Bridge at the Sagamore Rotary follow
Route 6 West along the Cape Cod Canal. Continue on Route 6 West & Route 28
North from the Bourne Rotary. At the 4th set of
lights take a left onto Onset Avenue. The Buttermilk Inn will be on your
right. Continue on Onset Avenue and the Onset Town Pier will be on the left.

Saturday September 27th - Cape Cod Back

There are only two automobile bridges that attach Cape Cod to the mainland.
With that in mind, here are your two routes:
The Western Route via The Bourne Bridge: Rt495 / Rt25 are the
official roads that cross the Bourne Bridge. These are highways. If your car
has trouble keeping up with today’s highway speeds or you just want an easy
cruise, we can offer these alternate routes.
Route 6: This parallels interstate 195 and winds from
Connecticut, Rhode Island, through Fall River and New Bedford and finally
joins up with RT28 on a stretch of road called "The Cranberry Highway". This
will lead you to the entrance to the Bourne Bridge, all on roads with speeds
no greater than 50 mph.
Rt 28: This road winds from New Hampshire, through Boston and
eventually down to Cape Cod, ending in the town of Orleans - another route
with speeds no greater than
50 mph.
After crossing the Bourne Bridge: Continue on RT28 South
(second right around the rotary). Continue on RT28 South. At the next
rotary continue on RT28 South (second right around the rotary) and continue
until reaching a traffic light. Take a left at the traffic light. At the
next traffic light, take a right. Follow this road until the end and take a
left. At the 7-11 store take a right, this is Scranton Avenue. Marine Park
is ¼ mile down on the left. Watch for the CCBCC signs.
The Eastern Route via the Sagamore Bridge: There are only two
ways of reaching the Bridge. One is RT3, which is a highway. The other is
RT3A, which is a 50 mph backroad. After crossing the Sagamore Bridge, take
the first exit off the highway. At the traffic light take a left. Continue
on this road until reaching a rotary. Take RT28 South (third right around
the rotary). Continue on RT28 South. At the next rotary continue on
RT28 South (second right around the rotary) and continue until reaching a
traffic light. Take a left at the traffic light. At the next traffic light,
take a right. Follow this road until the end and take a left. At the 7-11
store take a right, this is Scranton Avenue. Marine Park is ¼ mile down on
the left. Watch for the CCBCC signs.
